DENVER - The 2011-12 CHSAA Colorado State Basketball Championships are up for grabs this weekend.
Chaparral won the Class 5A Boys championship 69-67 over Arapahoe in overtime after Josh Adams tip in the game winner at the buzzer.
Legacy High School won the Class 5A Girls Championship with a 58-51 win over Monarch on Friday night.
Lewis Palmer won the Class 4A Boys Championship on saturday night with a 44-43 win over Sierra.
The Air Academy girls won the Class 4A Title with a 72-53 win over D'Evelyn on Friday night.
In Class 3A, Faith Christian won a pair of titles.
The boys beat Kent Denver 41-40 and the girls held off Eaton 49-44 to capture the Class 3A Girls Championship.
Denver Christian beat Limon 54-50 for the Class 2A Boys Championship. Crusaders Head Coach Dick Katte will retire a Champion.
Akron won the Class 2A Girls Championship with a 57-49 win over Lutheran Parker.
In Class 1A , Caliche beat Sierra Grande 84-77 to win the boys championship.
The Class 1A Girls title went to Pawnee who beat Norwood 28-23.
