As part of the event, representatives from various non-profit organizations, private companies and city agencies are providing information and displays on ways to save the environment. Their goal is to identify ways to reduce waste, develop energy sources, and ultimately increase profitability.

This year's fair will be Zero Waste, meaning that only materials that can be locally recycled or composted will be given away.
