Two fires started on Tuesday. One was off of Highway 40 and the other was off Highway 13. 

The fire off of Highway 13 was extinguished as of Wednesday morning.

The one off of Highway 40 has not been declared out yet, but it is in the mop-up stages. It is still smoldering in some areas, so they have firefighters monitoring it.

The residents of the Westview subdivision - which was evacuated due to these fires - were allowed back home. However, the Western Knolls subdivision residents are still on standby.
