The Colorado State Patrol says a 58-year-old woman from Littleton died in the crash.
Troopers determined around 7:50 p.m. the woman, who was driving a Honda Civic, drifted from the westbound lanes of C-470, crossed the median and collided head-on with a guardrail. The woman died form her injuries on the scene of the accident.
The woman's name is not being released until her family has been notified.
State troopers do not suspect drugs, alcohol or excessive speed as contributing factors. The woman was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
