Afternoon temperatures were 30 to 35 degrees cooler on Wednesday compared to Tuesday.

By mid-afternoon the heaviest bands of showers had already moved south of the Denver area and Front Range.

Some flooding was reported in the Colorado Springs area in and near the Waldo Canyon Burn scar but no significant damage was reported.

Foggy conditions will stay over the Front Range through Thursday morning even though the showers have moved on.  Skies will clear by early Thursday afternoon, paving the way for a warm, dry weekend.
