At about 10 a.m. on Sunday, she was pulled over by a Clear Creek deputy near Georgetown.
The deputy told dispatch she ran into his vehicle and was not cooperating.
She was handcuffed and put in the back of the officer's SUV. Somehow, police say she managed to escape, get in the front seat and drive off in the vehicle with the police lights on.
She weaved through the Eisenhower Tunnel past Silverthorne and into Frisco. After several attempts, a Colorado State Patrol trooper was able to ram the stolen SUV off the road.
She is expected to appear in court in October.
