The girl has been reunited with her family, but the suspect remains on the loose. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Authorities say he approached the young girl at the Park County Complex in Cody on Oct. 8. He told her he was looking for his lost puppy. She got into the man's white SUV, possibly a 2004-2005 Toyota SR-5 4-Runner.

The girl was found several hours later by a group of hunters in a rural area.

At one point, the vehicle had a silver and black Thule cargo box on the roof. The box has since been recovered by law enforcement and is being processed for evidence.

The suspect is described as a white male, possibly 45-60 years old, weighing between 185 and 200 pounds. He may also have short strawberry blond or white hair, with neatly trimmed facial hair. He is described wearing brown glasses with blue accent stripes, a brown shirt, blue jeans, and a tan baseball cap.

The FBI believes the man may have been living out of his SUV, as there were bedding materials set up in the back of the vehicle.

Anyone with information about the suspect or vehicle should call the Cody Police Department at (307) 527-8700 or the FBI tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).

The FBI does not believe the Wyoming abduction is related to the disappearance of Jessica Ridgeway from Westminster, Colorado.
