Poll: President Barack Obama, Mitt Romney still essentially tied in Colorado

Obama leads Romney by two percentage points in the poll, 47 percent to 45 percent. That reverses a one-point lead Romney held in a poll released in October. A poll in September showed Obama with a one-point lead on Romney.

All the results have been within the polls' margins or error, which for this survey is 3.8 percent.

Most significant in the results, the poll shows Obama winning among people who say they have already cast a ballot, 49 percent to 46 percent. Voters who say they plan to vote before Election Day also swing toward Obama, 45 percent to 42 percent.

Voters planning to cast a ballot on Election Day break for Romney, 47 percent to 42 percent.
