The officer was taken to Denver Health and was treated and released shortly after the shooting.

The crime scene was established around a bar called Jugz. Police say someone at the bar reported that a man with a warrant was at the bar.

Two police officers responded and approached the suspect. Police say the suspect pushed them away and told them he had a gun. 
It is unclear if one or both of the officers fired at the suspect.

Police on scene could not give a definitive condition of the suspect, but indicated that the suspect's injuries appeared to be serious.

Mountain View is a tiny town that sits west of Denver city limits and encompasses a half square mile.
