Friday night 215,000 people lined the streets to watch the parade. That doesn't count the thousands who watched the live telecast from home on 9NEWS.

Then on Saturday a record 260,000 people packed downtown for a live crowd two night total of 475,000 people.

That's a record! 9NEWS wants to thank everyone who watched on TV and showed up in person.

9NEWS will rebroadcast the parade on Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. and Dec. 24 at 10:37 p.m. on Channel 9.
