University spokesman Tim Vitale says that emergency responders had to use a defibrillator to get Danny Berger breathing again during practice Tuesday.

A spokesman for the school's sports teams, Zach Fisher, says Berger has been hospitalized in Murray in stable but critical condition. Fisher says the status of Wednesday's game at Brigham Young University is unknown.

The junior from Medford, Ore., is a starting forward for the Utah State Aggies. He averages 7.6 points per game and 3.6 rebounds.
