Adalynn Willett is two years old. She was was born with her intestines and liver outside her body. She's had 28 surgeries - that's an average of one a month for every month she's been alive.
Her heart has stopped twice, and she's somehow fought off countless potentially deadly complications.
The only home she's known is Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth.
Finally, after 850 days in the hospital, she was well enough for her parents to take her home to Abilene.
"I never thought we were going to make it this far. I always hoped for it, but I never thought this day would come. It is a very exciting day," Bryan Willett, Adalynn's father, said.
Ahead of her farewell, Adalynn and other kids at the hospital got a special visit last week. Several Rockettes stopped by to show off their kicks and hang out with the kids.
