Michael Voss, 36, of Arvada, could a face felony theft charge for stealing a Gila monster from the Scales 'N Tails reptile store in October.
The theft was caught on security cameras which show a man reaching into an aquarium and pulling out the lizard and then putting it under his clothing.

9Wants to Know ran Voss' background and found he was convicted of a misdemeanor peeping Tom charge in 2006 out of Jefferson County.
On Wednesday, investigators executed a search warrant at Voss' apartment and found other reptiles but did not recover the Gila monster.
Scales 'N Tails owner, Ron Beall, said Grumpy was valued at $1200.
"Who puts a poisonous lizard underneath their coat? He got caught and hopefully he'll get what he deserves," Beall said.
Beall suspects Voss may have had an indication he was being investigated for the theft.
