Broker Douglas Kerbs is credited with helping to sell 12 of the 85 units in the Four Seasons Private Residences.

"Two years ago we saw this recovery happening in our local market - this past year really has taken off," Kerbs said.

He adds a dramatic drop in pricing lead to fast sales in 2012. He says 11 months ago, the Four Seasons project readjusted its pricing, dropping from $1,100 per square foot to $500 per square foot.

Kerbs says many of the units were bought as second homes, with an average price of around $1.5 million per condo.

The 45-story building also includes a hotel. It stands on 14th Street, in between Lawrence Street and Arapahoe Street in Downtown Denver.
