It happened in the 1100 block of Broadway around 5 p.m.
Police say the victim was involved in a fight with another individual on the sidewalk when the victim ran into oncoming traffic and was hit by a white Honda CRV.
The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Denver police are now looking for the driver of the Honda.
