Federal prosecutors said Thursday that 65-year-old Thomas William Quintin has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States with respect to claims and one count of misuse of a Social Security number. Sentencing is scheduled for April 2 in Denver.

A plea agreement says Quintin and a co-conspirator operated Total Tax Services and Total Tax and Accounting in Englewood to carry out their scheme in 2009.
