The 7/20 Recovery Committee has launched a new website to help people cope with any side effects of hearing testimonies.

The website,, was designed by a psychologist who is an expert in trauma recovery. The site is free of charge.

Visitors to the site can take tests to find out what issues they may be experiencing and what skills they can develop to help cope.

Some signs of traumatic stress are: trouble sleeping, nightmares or flashbacks, difficulty concentrating, change in sleep or appetite, feelings of anxiety or fear, irritability, moodiness and withdrawing from friends or family.

The 7/20 Recovery Committee is a resource that is helping connect people with education, resources and trauma support following the theater shooting.
