Police believe the burglars are responsible for a total of 15 burglaries during the past month. In each incident, the suspects broke into the establishments using a baseball bat after they have closed. They stole alcohol and cigarettes.
"They are in and out very quickly, knowing their window of opportunity is small," Detective Jeff Johnson of the Arvada Police Department said in a media release.
On January 3, a liquor store in Arvada was hit close to midnight. Fifteen minutes later, the burglars hit a store in Wheat Ridge. On January 2, they burglarized a store in Westminster.
"Because they have a very distinct style of clothing, we are hoping that someone recognizes them," Johnson said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Arvada Police Department at 720-898-6900.
