One day after the men in orange and blue lost to the Ravens - bars were looking rather thin. The spirits of those who dared to go inside were dampened and many fans say they're not really interested in who goes to the Super Bowl.

"I honestly really don't even care, I don't care. Now that the Broncos are done, it doesn't matter who wins or loses," Justin Transrude said.

Tandsrude was one of several fans who flew in from out of town to watch the playoff game. He also came in to spend time with his friend, but after Saturday night's loss, their visit together turned sour.

"I'm here to console. I'm here to buy him all the alcohol he can handle. You know still every now and then I have to hand him a little tissue because he's got tears welling up in his eyes. But he'll be alright," Steve Heintz said.

It's not just the fans needing tissues. Bar managers have to come to terms with the fact that their establishments probably won't be as busy for awhile. Several bars reported record sales from Saturday night and say if the Broncos went all the way to the Super Bowl, there's no doubt they would have made even more money.

"Financially it's a huge loss. We had record numbers Saturday with the playoff game with the Broncos and I think it would have doubled if they would have won," Ryan Cook, General Manager of Sports Column said.

Even though it may seem like all is lost, there is still next year and the optimists know the Lombardi is coming back to the Mile High next year.
