KUSA - Snowmobiler Caleb Moore has died Thursday following injuries suffered during a crash at the Winter X Games on Jan. 24, according to a family spokesperson.
Moore was in critical condition in a hospital in Grand Junction after suffering serious injuries in a crash. He was initially diagnosed with a concussion, but doctors later performed surgery for a heart contusion.
The family announced Sunday that Moore had a brain complication. Moore crashed in the freestyle final at the X Games in Aspen. The 25-year-old from Krum, Texas, under-rotated on a back flip and was struck by the snowmobile as he slid down the hill.

Arrangements for a celebration of life are being made and an announcement will be made in the coming days. "
