DENVER - Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey has formally charged five people in connection with the trafficking and pimping of a 13-year-old girl. The charges are the result of an 8-month investigation by the Denver Police Department and the FBI Rocky Mountain Innocence Lost Task Force.
Cyril "Jazz" Packer, 27; Desiree "Dez" Gallimore, 23; Socrates "Chrome" Packer, 30; Mack McCray, 41; Earl Williams, 24, were each charged with multiple felony counts including child trafficking, inducement of child prostitution, sexual assault on a child and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Police say Williams approached the 13-year-old runaway last year and introduced her to McCray and Socrates Packer, who is also accused of sexually assaulting her.
McCray is accused of assisting by transporting her to a location in furtherance of later acts of prostitution.
All five defendants are in custody and will appear in Denver County Court next week to be advised of the charges, except McCray who is in custody in Oklahoma.
