KUSA - Marital infidelity is technically a crime in Colorado.

However, there is no penalty attached to it - at least, not a criminal penalty.

On Thursday the Colorado state legislature will consider a bill that aims to make it legal for spouses in Colorado to cheat on each other.

Similar bills in the past have failed for fear it would send a bad message.
