DENVER - Winter weather operations are in full-swing at Denver International Airport.
As of late Wednesday night, about 50 arriving and departing flights had been delayed at DIA and 30 flights had been canceled.
According to Laura Coale, media relations director at the airport, four flights destined for Colorado Springs were diverted to DIA because of the weather.
The airlines were arranging for buses to take the passengers to Colorado Springs.
Deicing operations are in effect for departing flights and winter driving conditions exist on Pena Boulevard.
Travelers are urged to check the status of their flight with their airline or at flydenver.com.
It is also suggested that travelers give themselves plenty of time to get to the airport ahead of their scheduled departure.
