CASTLE ROCK - Castle Rock police released the names of the three suspects in Thursday's daytime burglary that ended in officer-involved shooting.
Tshinbanda Kazadi, 23; Alexander Greer, 22, and Andre Greer, 20, all face second-degree burglary charges. Kazadi faces additional charges that include two counts of first-degree attempted assault on a peace officer and vehicle eluding.
It started when a neighbor in the 500 block of Mango Drive in Castle Rock called 911 about suspicious people, wearing masks, at a home in the area around 1 p.m. Thursday.
When Castle Rock Police spotted the three suspects, officers say two of them took off on foot. Investigators say the third suspect jumped in an SUV and then tried to ram officers and their cars.
An officer shot at the SUV after it swerved at them. The back window was broken out, but no one was hit.
The incident prompted a nearby school to be placed on lockdown.
Police are considering a fourth suspect may have been involved but don't believe the suspect is still in the area.
The officer who fired the shots was placed on paid administrative leave, as is standard procedure.
