ELIZABETH - An Elizabeth Middle School janitor was arrested Friday for suspicion of internet luring of a child.
The Elbert County Sheriff's Office says Michael Petramala, 53, was attempting to meet with two girls under the age of 15 that he met on the internet.
Investigators say Petramala had detailed explicit sexual activities that he was planning with the juveniles and had agreed to bring alcohol and lingerie.
Detectives say Petramala admitted to trying to lure underage girls during his arrest.
The investigation started back in 2011, but deputies didn't have enough evidence to make an arrest until this past Friday.
Investigators believe Petramala had no sexual contact with any children prior to his arrest.
They say students at Elizabeth Middle School were never at risk.
Elizabeth School District cooperated with investigators and were helpful throughout the process, according to a press release.
Petramala is on administrative leave from the school while the investigation continues.
Investigators searched Petramala's home for additional evidence. Petramala's bond was set at $100.000.
