KUSA - The Adams County Sheriff's Office is looking for a person of interest after a woman was killed in an early morning shooting Sunday in Adams County.
Authorities are searching for Miguel Angel Gonzalez, 25, who is described as 6 feet tall, 215 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and numerous tattoos on his arms, hands, chest, neck and abdomen.
At 6:15 a.m., a deputy patrolling the area near 52nd Avenue and Pecos Street noticed a suspicious car parked in front of a house.
The deputy pulled up and found a woman dead inside the car.
Authorities say Gonzalez may be driving a maroon 1994 Mercury sedan with license plate number 005-WTZ. They say the car has oversized wheels.
