KUSA - Police say a man responsible for a string of Monday morning accidents across the Denver metro area was arrested in Boulder.
The suspect has been identified as 35-year-old Adam B. Manlove.
According to Kim Kobel with the Boulder Police Department, the search ended when Manlove was in the parking lot of NCAR at 1850 Table Mesa Drive. He allegedly told a security guard that he stole a car and wanted to turn himself in. Police were called in and the suspect was treated for minor injuries.
At 7:17 a.m., one of the first crashes was confirmed at Tower Road and East Evans Avenue. Police say the car involved was a vehicle stolen from a gas station at Smoky Hill Road and Picadilly Street.
Manlove then was in another accident on 6th Avenue and Del Mar Circle, where he fled on foot. At 6th Avenue and Toledo Street, the suspect stole a tow truck.
In the tow truck, Manlove crashed into cars at Lowry Boulevard and Yosemite Street. He was also involved in a four car accident on Colfax Avenue and Perry Street.
Several victims had to be hospitalized. Police have offered no motive for the thefts.
