DENVER - The 17-year-old shot and critically injured by Denver Police Monday evening is a junior at North High School.
Counselors were on hand Tuesday for students and staff who know Cody Seastone.
Officers responding to the report of a stabbing say the teenager threatened them with two large knives. His family declined to discuss what happened.
Seastone's friends and classmates plan to hold a vigil across from the high school Wednesday evening.
He is currently listed in critical, but stable condition.
The officers are on administrative leave while an investigation is conducted.
