Colorado Weather Forecast: Wind, snow and cold with wind chill readings below zero

KUSA - Snow ends after midnight Wednesday morning.  Snow accumulations have exceeded a foot in and near the foothills, according to the Colorado weather forecast.

Blizzard conditions are making travel almost impossible over the northeastern corner of the state.

Denver broke the record low of 12 degrees for Tuesday and will be close to tying or breaking the record low for Wednesday.  The current April 10th record low is 7 degrees set in 1959.

Very cold winds Wenesday will make highs in the 30s feel more like the middle teens.

Light afternoon showers are possible Thursday and Friday afternoons with highs in the upper 40s to mid 50s.
