KUSA - A suspect was arrested Thursday morning after a fatal shooting in northeast Denver Wednesday night.
The suspect is being held for first-degree murder. He is not being identified at this time.
Denver Police say the person they thought was involved in a fatal shooting near 38th Avenue and Grape Street that happened Wednesday after 9 p.m.
The shooting victim on that scene was transported to the hospital where he later died. His identified is not being released by police pending notification of his next of kin.
According to police, the victim and the suspect were involved in an argument when the suspect produced a gun and shot the victim. The suspect fled the scene.
SWAT officers stood for hours outside a northeast Denver home where the shooting suspect was believed to be inside.
They were able to get into the home in northeast Denver around 3 a.m. and discovered the suspect was not there.
