DENVER - Authorities say they've busted two major drug rings operating in Metro Denver. One of them was gang-related.
More than 300 local, state and federal officers arrested 38 people in 6 hours. It's an investigation that started more than a year ago.
Police say they are still looking for three suspects: Brandon Brown, Wesley Conner and Arturo Martinez.
Investigators say they are part of the ring that smuggled crack, cocaine and meth from different states and Mexico.
"We have really taken a bite out of that distribution network, and it can only mean safer streets for all of the metro area," FBI special agent Mike Rankin said.
More than 10 pounds of meth and several guns were seized in the raid. Police say they might be able to link the suspects to several other unsolved crimes.
