DENVER - Denver Police are investigating a series of bike thefts that occurred in May. The two unrelated incidents were caught on camera.
On May 4, police say two men stole two bicycles from the RTD light rail station at 1901 East Buchtel. The pair were caught on an RTD camera riding a light rail train.
In a separate case, police say a man and a woman stole a $2,000 gray Murano bike from a secured parking garage at the Glass House, located at 1700 Bassett Street. The two thieves were caught on a security camera on May 24.

This Crime Stoppers alert was issued a week after 9Wants to Know profiled the worst bike racks in Denver with the highest rate of theft.
These recent thefts on Bassett Street and Buchtel Boulevard occurred in areas of the city known among police as high-theft areas for bicycles.
