WESTMINSTER - There has been a large house explosion in the 9300 block of Ingalls Street at 11:30 a.m on Thursday.
It is suspected to be caused by natural gas.
There is heavy damage to four homes in the area. Two houses are complete losses.
Witnesses say they saw the top of the house fly at least four stories into the air after the explosion. The blast shook nearby buildings.
Three people who were unaccounted for Thursday morning - have been found safe.
Two people were injured during the blast.
Residents in the area of the explosion say they smelled gas before the explosion Thursday morning. Xcel Energy would not confirm if they sent a crew to investigate the gas smell or not.
Power and gas service has been turned off in the neighborhood as a precautionary measure as the authorities investigate.
