BOULDER - Police have released a sketch of a man who allegedly attacked an 18-year-old male victim with a pair of scissors.
It happened at 10:21 p.m. on Saturday near 13th and Spruce Streets. The victim told police he was walking with a female friend when the suspect lunged at him and attacked with without provocation. The victim suffered cuts and abrasions as he struggled to get away. He was treated and released at a local hospital.
The suspect ran away after the altercation, and the victim and his friend flagged down an officer who was responding to a report of a fight in the area.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s who is between 5'7" and 5'10" tall. He was described as having a medium build and brownish blonde hair with a receding hair line. He was wearing a short-sleeve green t-shirt at the time of the attack, and was described as having a "sunken" face.
