AURORA - Joy, encouragement and faith are what Eugene Han and Kirstin Davis have been able to bring to the world, a pretty big contribution considering just how young they are.

"The most exciting thing for me is the fact that we have encouraged people and people have told us our story has encouraged them," Davis said. "I'm excited that we can do that. It's ok to be positive about something, take something negative and turn it into something positive."

Davis and Han were both injured during the Aurora theater tragedy. Kirstin didn't spend much time at the hospital, but Han was more seriously hurt.

They've been dating for a while by that time, the events of the day pushed Han to take the next step and propose to Davis.

"God protected us that night, we should've died," Han said. "Everything was laid our perfectly for us to not be here anymore. We're still here so he's definitely guided us through everything, even with the wedding, people have been helping us out. It's still kind of stressful, but at least we have all these people being encouraged by the story and stuff, that's the overall goal. To show people, why we trust God and how we trust God, forgiveness and the love he has for people."

The couple decided to get married on July 20, to take back that day, to make happy memories.

"I could see the hand of God throughout the whole thing," Han said. will be streaming the ceremony starting at 4 p.m. MST.
