More rain is expected to pick up after sunset and last through the night into Wednesday morning from the Denver metro area north to Fort Collins-Loveland, and Greeley. Though steady, the rain may be heavy enough to creat localized flooding in some of the recent burn areas over the Front Range.
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for most of western Colorado as well as the Waldo Canyon and Black Forest burn areas.
Cloudy skies with showers will be common for the rest of the week with Wednesday and Thursday having high temperatures only in the 60s to low 70s.
