LONGMONT - One area of the state that was hit hard by the flooding was Longmont.
RECENT COLORADO FLOODING STORIES
The Emergency Operations Center run by the City of Longmont is open and assisting with the flood recovery effort in the city.
While the call center function of the EOC has closed, residents with needs or concerns can reach the city through the phone numbers on the contact info page (http://bit.ly/18b2G06) or by using the additional resources page of the city's site (http://bit.ly/1doJgID.)
The Longmont Fire Department is helping residents remove water from basements. If residents are in need of assistance, they are to email email@example.com. Residents must provide their name, address and a phone number that they can be reached at over the next couple of days. All requests may not be able to be met within one day.
There is still a curfew in place for the city that lasts from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
