ENGLEWOOD - A 12-car crash involving a semi-truck injured four people in Englewood Monday afternoon. None of the injuries were serious.
Englewood police say a semi-truck traveling westbound on Hampden Avenue "plowed" through the intersection at South Clarkson Street. It's not clear if the truck driver had a red light.
The truck ended up on the sidewalk on East Jefferson Avenue in front of an apartment complex.
Police say the truck driver may have a medical condition that caused the driver to run through the intersection.
The crash occurred at the start of rush hour, around 3:30 p.m. The crash also spilled diesel from the truck, bringing in a HazMat team.
Cherry Hills Village and Englewood Police are working together to investigate the crash on their border.
Hampden Avenue was closed for several hours.
