BIG THOMPSON CANYON - An Army wife living in Miami, Fla., emailed 9NEWS saying the story on a wedding album found up the Big Thompson Canyon belongs to her.

Michelle Lanfear says the album, found by Jason Breeding of Drake, went missing during a move. She says she's never lived in Colorado, but she would love to get the album back.

"I am an Army wife and we had a box of stuff go missing in our last move from Alaska to Florida," Lanfear said by email from Miami.

It is unknown how their box ended up in Colorado.

"I am so grateful it has turned up," she wrote.

Breeding was evacuated from his Drake neighborhood during the flooding. But before he left, he found a wedding album in the debris. He put it inside and didn't see the album until he was recently allowed to get back to his home.

"We knew that somebody was going to want these back," Breeding said on Wednesday.

Some photos show dates of April 11, 2004.

"The bride has a lovely white dress. They look quite happy here," Breeding said. "I hope I can get this back to you, whoever you are."

Lanfear says she saw the story on Headline News.
