DENVER - The shooting at Los Angels International Airport Friday disrupted several flights in and out of Denver.
A spokesperson for Frontier Airlines said they canceled all of their flights. Other airlines like Southwest and United also reported a slew of cancellations.
For the few flights that did take off most were diverted.
Despite those cancellations, the airport says the flight delays weren't more than an hour.
Several of the airlines are encouraging passengers flying Saturday to check their flights before heading to the airport.
The gunman pulled a semi-automatic rifle from a bag and shot his way past a security checkpoint at LAX on Friday, killing one Transportation Security Administration officer and wounding two others, authorities said.
The gunman was wounded in a shootout with airport police and taken into custody, authorities said. His condition was not disclosed.
Airport officials say 746 flights nationwide were affected by the incident.
