AURORA - Police made an arrest in a shooting that left two men dead and a woman wounded in Aurora Tuesday morning.

It happened at an Aurora home at 1437 Lima Street around 2:45 a.m.

Police say the resident and his female guest were in the front room of the home when two suspects came to the address. A struggle ensued inside the house where one of the suspects was shot and killed. The male resident made his way out of the house, but was shot by the second suspect who then returned inside the house and took the resident's keys to his black Cadillac and fled the scene.

The Cadillac was located by police a short time later in the 2500 block of North Dallas Street. Information was developed about the suspect, who was quickly located and arrested.

The woman shot inside the home is expected to survive her injuries. All of the victims were adults, police said.

Police say all involved have criminal histories. Investigators believe the shooters knew the victims.

Police have not released the names of the suspect or victims at this time.
