DENVER - Three suspects were taken into custody after three people were stabbed outside Sports Authority Field at Mile High after Thursday night's Broncos game.
Police say all three victims are still in the hospital, suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
It happened in a parking lot adjacent to the stadium just after the Denver Broncos played the San Diego Chargers. The game let out at 9:55 p.m.
According to Denver Police, the stabbing was the result of a suspect backing out of a traffic space and nearly striking one of the victim's vehicles.
Two suspects were released. However, one suspect, later identified as Justin Manzanares, is still being held on three different accounts of first-degree assault.
According to the police report, Manzanares, 29, pulled out a knife from the sheath he was wearing on his belt and stabbed all three victims.
The Stadium Management Company released the following statement:
"Stadium Management Company is aware of an incident that occurred in a parking lot adjacent to Sports Authority Field at Mile High. We are currently working with authorities to gather more information."
