KUSA - A new video shows the moment a skier triggered an avalanche in Rocky Mountain National Park.
The video was sent to 9NEWS by Chris Stillwell.
Stillwell's group was near Tombstone Ridge when the slide started. The video shows him fall, but he's able to escape.
While officials say avalanche danger is easing, several slides have been reported in the past few days.
Experts say to use extra caution if you're in Colorado's backcountry.
The snowpack remains re-active, which means you should avoid steeper terrain near and above treeline.
