INDIAN HILLS - Two people are dead and one person is wounded after a shooting at an Indian Hills home Monday night.

According to sources, a man shot and killed his stepmom and then shot and wounded his dad at the Jefferson County home. The shooter is dead. It's not known how he died.

The stepmother has been identified as Maggie Leiman.

The shooting occurred Monday night at the home in the 23000 block of Pawnee Road.

The father, Bruce, was airlifted to Swedish Medical Center. He is in stable condition, according to authorities.

The 911 call came in at 10:05 p.m. from the man's stepsister hiding in the home. She was found uninjured.

"I have a stepbrother that started shooting," A 911 operator is heard conveying information to responding officers.

Radio traffic suggests it all started with an argument in the living room. The dispatcher says the person calling left when the argument started.

"[The stepsister] stating he was shooting at the bedroom door but did not get in. [The caller] does not hear him anymore," the dispatcher said over police radio.

The stepsister told the dispatcher that her stepbrother "started shooting towards [her] parents bedroom."

The caller told the 911 operator that her stepbrother was wearing all black during the shooting.

Police have not publicly identified the shooter.

Police found mildly suspicious liquid inside one of the cars at the home.
