NEW YORK - Their confident stride through the streets of Manhattan is a clue. Their lack of maps or brochures is another. But it's not really until the Tarabocchias of Frisco Colorado start talking that you realize they've been here before.

The accent is unmistakable.
"We've been away from New York for 35, 40 years. But we like to come back to renew our accents," quipped Rose Tarabocchia.
She's from Queens. Her husband of four decades is a Jersey boy. Exit 16, Marty Tarabocchia is quick to note.
They have been Broncos season ticket holders for four or five years, depending on whether you ask Rose or Marty. They hoped to win tickets in the Broncos' lottery. They lost.
"We're not sore. We're not sore," Marty said. "But we were hoping. We were hoping."
They decided to return to the city they love anyway and make a week of it: attend the opera, eat in Little Italy, visit the World Trade Center Memorial and spend Super Bowl Sunday in Atlantic City.
Their advice for fellow Coloradans visiting their old hometown?
"It's a beautiful city," Rose said.
"New Yorkers are very nice. They're very helpful," Marty said, adding, "Hold onto your wallet!"
