DENVER - Denver International Airport's new transit center is on target to open next year.
If you've been to the airport, you've seen the progress first hand, but only from the outside.
Many wonder what it looks like inside the construction zone.
Are crews behind schedule? Will they finish the massive project on time?
Julie Smith with DIA says crews make dramatic progress everyday on the transit center.
So much so, she says from one day to the next, it sometimes a world of a difference.
She said more than 85 percent of the firms working on this project are locally owned.
