The city of Glenwood Springs and some hotels in Aspen are among those that have paid for Spanish classes at Colorado Mountain College.
Suzanne Hyman of the college says content can be customized toward specific employers.
For instance, the college worked with the Roaring Fork Transit Authority and the Colorado Department of Transportation to create a book of basic Spanish for transit employees.
Word about the book is catching on.
Hyman says the Dallas Area Rapid Transit just purchased 1,500 of the $5 books.
