DENVER - Do you want to make a mark on downtown Denver? Literally, with a piano landmark that you’ve designed?
Keys to the City started in 2009 as a way to encourage those of downtown Denver to contribute to and interact with the area, said spokeswoman Brittany Diehl in an email. People are encouraged to not just stop and admire the pianos in 16th Street Mall but to play them as well.
If you have an idea, download the piano-sketch seen in the Facebook post below, fill in your design, and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org by April 19.
Ten designs will be picked as the winners before May 1. Artists will be reimbursed up to $150 for supplies.
