DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Denver officials say they will spend the next year gathering input on what the city needs for new infrastructure, after which they will ask voters next year to approve a new bond request — called the GO Bond — to pay for those needs.
The latest round of planning follows on the $550 million Better Denver Bond Program, which Denver voters approved in 2007.
The 2007 program included 380 projects, such as building or improving roads, libraries, parks, city offices and other projects, of which 38 projects are still underway.
All of the projects in the original program are expected to be finished in 2017, according to Denver’s website on the program.
