24 indicted for illegally selling Colorado pot in 12 states

KUSA - A grand jury has handed down 24 indictments in an illegal marijuana growing operation that spanned multiple counties and distributed the drug to 12 states. 

Warrants were issued in the case on Tuesday, according to the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, and some of the suspects are still in the process of being apprehended. 

Prosecutors say they illegally grew marijuana in 10 homes in Arapahoe, Douglas and Elbert County and then sold it for distribution in 12 other states. 

Among the charges they face are racketeering, money laundering and attempt to influence a public servant. 

The suspects were identified as:
